^^This is how you triggered it. No where does it state that the 2 triggers has to be in the same class, just that the COMBINATION has to make two runs quicker than 1.00.

So how does it average out? Add the average together from the three classes the combination can run and divide by three?

It doesn’t. If any of the three classes have an average quicker than 85 under, you get horsepower.

Ok I've turned from reporter to "investigative reporter". Maybe Ken will give me a raise!
I have spoke to the new owner of the car which is Al Brister, I don't think he will mind me putting that information out. It is a 1987 305 190/237 combination and the tech card was turned in as such by Willie Mylin the driver at Rockingham. Willie has been running his 83 CM car in the Open series here in Division 2 this year. This may account for why the information in the averages that were released last week look a little screwed up but they are certain the information on the tech card were turned in correctly. Willie being a little new to NHRA class racing didn't really understand how the AHFS really works and made a mistake by unintentionally triggering the combo at Rockingham.
Case closed!

If I had a combo “at risk” I’d be finding a car to rent for the Vegas Divisional. Or make a long tow...

So the 69 Nova 350/255 is looking at a 2.25% increase in hp if there are no more runs in F/SA..7Hp?

We hauled two 71 Demons across the country twice last year around
the end of year.......Not much fun although we meet a lot of good folks
in St. Louis in the rain and snow the last trip.

Jim it will be all for nothing if it goes mineshaft, no runs will count except -1.200 runs

Good point, just looked and it could have easily done that last year if just a few stepped up...

And the weather is very cool for Vegas this week. Could very easily be mineshaft.
