Bubski does not want to be revered ,respected or liked for that matter !! However Bubski only deals in the "black and white truth" no "gray areas or subject to interpretation rules" If your off by .001 than your not complying its that simple !! If your playing games with fuel check like some veteran racers here including Bubski have seen your still wrong even if your a "great guy" and have great snacks and adult beverages to offer !! What Bubski is saying is !! just wake up and be observant and the truth will come to you !! Bubski does not posses the ability to lie and will not let opinion or flavor of the week nonsense impair his judgement !! Cheers !!

Barry- I have not been racing stock for many years. You are correct I was tossed for a light piston. However the week after Indy Bud Rowe was toosed for same thing at Maple Grove. I forgot Mr. Goodwrench builds your motors, thats why you go a second under. the next time a 396/375 goes to the barn call me. I will bring my 23,000 mile camaro with a engine that has never been apart and teardown along side it. As for the fuel,Billy is correct. Powermist. It passed everytime,so dont hate me hate the organization you guys pay to police people like me.If anyone has any other comments about me our my brother let me know. Be more than happy to discuss.

Joe I didn't use your name but I understand a lot of others would know who I was talking about. I probably should not have said the corvette. But you were wrong period ! And you knew it. How many racers that ran legal stuff did you guys put on the trailer? If it was bracket racing who cares but it's not. I get it that several others are also doing the same thing. That doesn't make it right. You and your brother are smarter at this **** than most that run Stock. Your cars would be fast with building it to the NHRA rules. If I offended you personally that was not my intention. I believe because of the lack of tec and tear downs racers are pushing the rules more than they did back when we started racing. Maple Grove, one out of three got by. And that was only the top ends that were done. I still use Tilburg for my engines. There are two reasons why. His stuff is fast and will go threw a teardown. I have been apart at Indy several times and made it threw. I have never run light weight parts in my short block. And have always come to a race believing what I have would make it threw a tear down.

I don't remember how long did you get off for the infraction? Today it seems they would have thrown you out of that one race. And you could have raced the next race. I would love to see you guys back racing Stock. Your both are diehard competitors and have the same passion. And smart enough to make your cars fly the right way. By the way for my car you would need to bring a 402. BP

Brian - GOOD to hear from you. As for the 396 I remember you running a 69 car. I know I am smart enough to build a car totally legal and make it run, but why would I when nobody that is a second under is. Stop with the nonsense that Brian is a quire boy! If a head has been grinded on a little you are cheating, same goes for manifold and lets not forget the dome on the 375 combo. Try that stuff on someone who doesn't know engines. NOT ME. Stay well.

What I do know is I had a legal G/SA 1968 Camaro that I had a hard time running my index and got my *** kicked quite often.

What I AM SAYING is if you touch the bowl area a little or a lot you are cheating.you not a little pregnant your pregnant. wITHOUT getting into a in depth conversation on VE A ENGINE IS A AIR PUMP. A stock big block chevy head does not flow enough air to support the power numbers it takes to run as fast as these STOCK engines go. If you would like me to bring a low mileage never apart 375 to the barn I will be more than happy. Sad thing is you guys believe your own lies. Its the greatest class in racing, and I TRUELY loved my involvment in the sport and the friends I made but lets get real.
