reading the list of people who are NOT in the eliminator in stock is pretty eye opening-and heart wrenching. Al Corda almost did not make the cut-the new cars certainly pushed a lot of high quality machines and racers out. I like the new cars, but I still think thier own eliminator would be more fair.

Only EF/S car in the field. Ron Seibenek's Topaz. Spent an hour or so talking with Ron Wednesday afternoon. Got alot of good information for my Achieva. Now just need to decide if I want to make it a legit race car? Can get the parts, now just need to decide if I want to be seperated (even more) from my wallet.

The part on Buckner's car is something to do with the crank trigger.

Just got back from the A/S and A/SA presentations of awards to the winners. Congrats to Caleb McFarland for winning A/S and David Barton for winning A/SA two years in a row! Be sure to check out all the sponsors and make sure you buy something from them when it comes time to replace something! I took lots of pictures that I will post tomorrow. It has been a long day!

We also went to a dinner sponsored by Mopar tonight. Thanks Mopar! Good burgers and dogs!

Well I think at least 2 alternates will get in tomorrow. Dave Edwards is broke and Al Corda broke a transmission. Boudreau lost an engine in the semis of B/SA and was not able to show for the finals, but he has already put another engine in, so he is ready for Round 1 in the morning. The early run schedule is round 2 of super gas, super stock class, round 2 of super comp and round 1 of stock. We begin at 8, so stock should be running around 10:30 or so.

Well more tomorrow!

Well it is another beautiful day here at Indy. It is a little warmer and more humid today. Super stock class is already running and 2 of my favorites have already gotten beat. Jimmy Bridges had a problem on the starting line and Eric Bell red-lighted! Super gas has already run and super comp is after class, then round 1 for us. So more later.

Lew was right, its the sensor on the balancer for the crankshaft position. It tells the computer crank position for timing and the injectors. We borrowed one from Teuton last night, fixed it in about 10 minutes this morning and tried to make the show as an alternate, but didnt quite make it in. Really sucks because the car was on a low 9.70 pass when it let loose, and would have put us well in the show! Oh well, better luck next year. Good luck to all still in.

The latest news on Super Stock teardown for tomorrow is they are tearing down 10 cars. They will be getting a normal Indy tear down, unlike the abbreviated Stock tear down because of pending weather conditions.

We did have some down time for some light rain that came through, but it was not long. As of now its very warm, upper 80's and very humid.

All of todays racing will get done, tomorrow is another story depending on how the storm tracks.

Even though I lost first round I will be here tomorrow and give a report on how super stock teardown goes.

I'm sure most know that Daniels and Westcott are in the finals in the Hemi Shootout. It should be fun to watch.

Jim Cantore of the Weather channel is predicting 4 to 6 inches of rain for Indiana the weekend.......hope not.
