Thanks for the pix, Jack! Who belongs to the SS/JA '70 'Cuda? I know the dark blue (looks like black) '68 Barracuda is Wendell Howes 340 car.

Hey Jack,
Thanks for hanging in there and reporting all weekend. Really appreciate it! To all the racers still left and coming back tomorrow: hang in there...despite it all, it's a national event and someone has got to win this thing, and it won't be the guy complaining about the conditions.

best,
Bruce Deveau

Congratulations to all that continue to subject themselves year after year to the worst national event on the schedule, and it's no fault of Maple Grove Raceway.
The weather always seems to bring the race teams to their knees. You have my respect.

I saw a video of the weird crash in Comp today, what in the world was that thinking? I guess he just didn't see the guy riding down the track in his lane or what?

Good morning - A beautiful morning here in Pennsylvania - sunshine , blue shies for a change with temps in the high 50's .Bad news is that after a tuff loss last night I bagged it and am now 60 miles from the track and won't see final eliminations today .

Hopefully someone at the track can post and keep us filled in on the action ....its been nice but I must tell you - way too long and I certainly earned the Christmas bonus this past week ! ! ! !

PS- heads-up between Russ Linke and 'lil Joe Santangelo in C/SA should be a barn burner in the early morning Maple Grove go fast air .

Good morning Jack. Sorry about that loss yesterday. Do you (ot anyone else) know if the Sportsman finals will be on audio cast this morning?

See you at the Dutch?

Jim,
A BIG Thank you for those reports. There'd be a lot of folks feeling incredibly frustrated if you didn't. Myself included.
Again Thanks.

Anyone know why Don Fezell was a no show for Round 2 of Stock?

Another tough race for Ally Smyth in the 4th rd. against Jim Boudreau.
He definitely has the combo down. Ally gave it all I'm sure, especially with the .003 light. I wish Team Portatree all the best and that she can maintain the lead in Stock for Division 1.

Cal Tracks and mono leaf on Tom's car, no tubs.
I think he had 10x30's on it.

Hey Tom! Yup I have cal trak bars with split mono leaf. 10.5 x 30 tire, stock tubs just offset 3/4" hangers. Not cutting up that car. Thanks again for watching me first hit!

You still haven't identified yourself, no-namer, all the gentleman asked was whose car is it. How hard can it be?

Thanks for your reports Jim

Congrats to all the finalists.

All in all, considering the overall outlook weather wise a few days back, it really was the best compromise . They were done by noon on Monday , not a bad outcome in a bad Mother Nature situation.

All the racers did a great job today of getting back to the lanes quickly after each round. There was minimal delay between rounds.

It was fun today. It made me miss what I'd been doing for the previous 14 years.

I'm glad people found it helpful.

Don't blame you a bit for not cutting the car up, Tom. Looks awesome! Is it a 340 or 383?

CalTracs work great! I remember when Calvert first started running his Mustang in SS with them. Back then, three-foot wheelies were unheard of on a Stocker tire.
