Yea some guys complained as much as 40 pounds light---that is unacceptable--either the previous races were wrong or these scales are wrong--- I can see 5-10 but not 40 was

Most of us just go across the scales while warming up each day. Scales at some tracks aren't even the same each day. Add or remove to/from the ballast box as needed.
Some of us run 150/200 heavy and don't worry about it. LOL

One year there was 30 pounds difference between the 2 scales at Charlotte. There was a heads up between Greg Rowe and Mickey Whaley that Greg won by .015 and had to go to the pro side(light side) to weigh after the run.

Well it has been a long, hot, dusty day but we won class so all is well!!

And then Jimmy Hidalgo had a scruptious shrimp boil!! Thanks, Jimmy!

And then Stan and Sheila Holt had pastalaya that was great and of course their strawberry margeritas and pina coladas! Thanks Stan and Sheila!!

I took a few pictures, but I am having trouble with Photobucket so hopefully I will be able to post them later.

We won 1st round!! Yea!!! Now we get to enjoy the rest of the day since we don’t run again til in the morning. That round Amy Faulk oiled the track which delayed things a little.

I just noticed on the sheet that Brian McClanahan is there. I didn't know he was going. I wonder if he's thinking about the national championship. He's already pretty much closed out the div 7 championship. Wow! I will be watching that white camaro.

Well I am still having trouble with Photobucket so no pictures today. It has been pretty laid back today! We watched FS/XX. 1st session was pretty good but second was a spin fest!!

We tried Don Jose’s for lunch and it was pretty good! But supper at Country Dog’s was better! Fried catfish fries shrimp. They were also fixing frog legs and chicken but we were full and came on home! Brett Candies gave us some jambalaya to try later!!

This is still the dirtiest place we have ever raced at!! Anyway we go out at 8 in the morning for the 2nd round, then hopefully 2 more tomorrow !

Well we lost 2nd round! But there is always next week!! As Brett said it is raining pretty good! Larry’s plan is to dry down the car good and hide it back in the trailer away from the dust whenever it stops raining!! I guess one good thing about the rocks and sand where we are parked is that we won’t have to be pulled out when we get ready to leave!

I've known Brian for a long time. I think we first met when he was running super street and brackets in that red Camaro he used to own. I'm proud of the way he has kept his dads legacy going.

Those last points are tough to get since you're improving on what you already have. He does have a 2cd round loss so if he wins a national he would have his 65 points. Lamb has one more division race to claim.
