I don't blame him, probubly all he wants from Pamona is "GONE" and to get home from the "drag race from hell". |
Re: Live from Pomona -- NHRA World Finals
Jack, have a good trip home. Sorry your experience out here was so bad. Good luck next season.

Like all others said, I hope that you keep after whoever that Kara person is, and the Div. 7/NHRA field office, and local law inforcement, because bagged parts have to be more noticeable than regular trash--they're heavier, and with sharper/harder edges??? |
Re: Live from Pomona -- NHRA World Finals
Jack- REAL sorry you had a bad time here with your parts.I noticed trash personnel driving around with a little tow motor pulling a cart loaded with trash bags at 4 pm yesterday before second round, they were making a diligent effort to get the place picked up, and it's probable that your items were erroneously picked up. I've had many a good time at Pomona without any of that, real sorry it happened here. That misrepresents us all. Tony Janes was driving my red Chevelle, he did pretty well, and we're all wishing you the best in the off season. We enjoy reading your posts.Keep us informed as to what happens.

Re: Live from Pomona -- NHRA World Finals
Good afternoon racers -- I can tell you first hand that there's nothing better to help you get your head on straight than a up and down bumpy all day plane ride .By the time I hit Philly last night most of the bad things that happened in Nevada and California were forgotten and as you can tell I'm back to the keys .Don't get me wrong -- I'm not wishin' I was there because maybe I'd be in lockup or somethin' -- but I still do like racing there .
How about that Lee Zane ? Is he looking like the '09 champ that he is or what ? I'd be very surprised if he doesn't win this race.Lets not forget Jody Lang who came up with a clutch .003 light against young gun Kyle Rizzole in round four. And poor Tony James who was on a roll driving Greg Reimers car till he met Bedford who crushed his dream . In SuperStock we have Pennsylvania's Worner who is looking to bring the hardware back to Division one .And then there is Frank Grossi -- did he get the Strange money for his bye in round four -- he went 9.330 on a 9.33 dial and he's looking to get the big Wally for D7 ........ One last thing -- I can't forget my trailer mate -- Brock Mosier --who won the Summit race at Maple Grove and is here representing D1 in the year end Summit runoff is in the semi's with his Vega wagon.....good luck Brock ! ! ! |
Re: Live from Pomona -- NHRA World Finals
Zane with the bye in the semi's .........he's still my pick ! ! !
Worner following suit in S/S -- he too has a bye in the semi's |
Re: Live from Pomona -- NHRA World Finals
S/S--Its Worner and Grossi in the final............
Mosier in the Summit Pro ET Final............ |
