Go to IHRA web ( nitrojam.com ) and look to the left and click on texas race. Scroll down to where it says complete schedule and it should pop up .

www.ihra.com -- just look at that great big block in the center of the page with the dragster and the Texas Nationals logo, and the list of links:

Michael, looked through that last night. I have a friend thinking about coming, but was wanting to know about the entry fee, payouts, etc. I didn't fin that listed. They had spectator ticket prices and the pro schedules, directions, etc. Not what he was wanting t know. Trying to bring over another NHRA racer.

Ed i talked to Chris Jackson last night and i believe he told me entry was $170.00, your guess is as good as mine on payout.

I wonder if they are using VHT or that crap HRP was using for track prep. It acted just like Baton Rouge. Wonder which Baton Rouge used? Both got good when the clouds came over. Here at the Tulsa national event last summer IHRA brought their own stuff (VHT) and did all the prep. Hope they do the same down there. I think I'll go there instead of Topeka. Wish I could run both.

ET win 2000

They have to have 64 cars signed up by the 23rd or ET dropped. Thats box and no box togather. Also if it is like Tulsa, you can run ET and sportsman class.

The below was sent to me for the Tulsa race. I am assuming the same is for Dallas.

--/quote/---
1- The Purse below is what we'll use for the ET Race
Box - $2,000 to Win, $1,000 R/U, $50 per round starting with 2nd rd losers
No Box - $1,500 to Win, $750 R/U, $5 0 per round starting with 2nd rd losers
2- Both the Box and No Box Winner will get an Ironman
3- Motorcycles will be allowed to run in the Box Class
4- Entry is $190 per class and $150 for each additional class
5- "Joe Racer" will be allowed to run the same car in both the ET Class and a Sportsman Class

If TD and TS are needed I can type them in.

Steve Prado
Rudy, AR

PS : I am not responsible for mistakes!

Oh yea Entrys

Thanks Steve and Danny!

I let a friend have both my weekly papers, and he had already picked up last weeks.

Also, good to know the track will hook like in the past.

Popular question at Houston (Especially among the small tire cars) was "Are your 60's off this weekend?" I was asked that at least five times. Bumper scraping was not a problem for me.

hey...over 4,000 views....somebody is interested. I sure hope that this race is attended and enjoyed by lots of racers and spectators. This is a NICE facility that deserves to be supported. I will be in Richmond with Michael but hopefully will take the trek out someday myself. Weinert has been there for a few weeks and I have seen first hand what he can do with not so nice places so I have no doubt that this place will be ready.

either way, go, support the track, support the series, win you a race, come to Rockingham in October and win you $10k....what is so bad about that?
