Moving to a Stocker to get away from electronics makes zero sense to me as your just trading issues. Stockers use weather stations.....Stockers use 2 steps and buttons on the brake pedal....Stockers use data collection devices to tune their engines better. Stockers routinely run in "bracket mode" during eliminations unless they have a heads-up run....You won't beat any "heavy hitters" in a heads up in a Stocker without some enhancements in your driveline at the expense of your wallet.........LOL

Not true at all!

All classes have someone that uses weather stations.

Stockers are allowed two steps...true, but no throttle stops, burn out timers, transbrakes, crossovers, hands off shifters for the trans, etc.

My data recorder is my tach, it tells me what actual rpm I shifted at.

I bracket raced for over 10 years but don't know what "bracket mode" is.

As for having "enhancements" to your drive line I'm not sure what you mean but Scott Helms won stock at the Gators this year with the slowest car in the field and he doesn't have a trunk full of electronics....and he beat the "heavy hitters".

I'm a drag racer and a fan and as a fan I find todays electronic racing boring and the fans that aren't familiar with that type of racing are bored and confused with it. They don't understand why a car goes fast, then slow then fast again.
