Re: Live from Bowling Green, Division 3 points race!
As always Larry, thanks for the great pictures. I will be leaving Connecticut at 5:00PM on Monday 8/31; depending on how long I sleep, I should arrive at my motel no later than 2:00PM on Tuesday. I will try to stop by and say hi bright and early on Wednesday morning!

[QUOTE=Larry Hill;137308]Well, it is a beautiful day here in Bowling Green. A lot cooler -67 when stock ran. For all of you A/SA competitors who are headed to Indy--this morning Johns dialed 10.01 and ran 9.99. So be ready Mustangs, he is ready for you. I guess all of us old cars might as well stay home.
Larry & Patsy -- I wouldn't give up the ship just yet -- funny things seem to happen during class eliminations .Good coverage this weekend and all of us who won't be at Indy will be watching for your reports -- thanks ................ |
Re: Live from Bowling Green, Division 3 points race!
Thank you Larry and Patsy for the reports and the pictures. It's always a treat to read about your adventures at the races you attend.
Have a safe trip to Indy. Hey Dan Moore, you're #1. :D RIP Mark Graham |
Re: Live from Bowling Green, Division 3 points race!
Well we have a heads up race for the finals in Stock--Stephenson and Robbins. They have been running pretty close all weekend.
It looks like DeFrank blew his up in the semis against Jeremy Duncan. Lots of smoke and track clean-up. More later. |
Re: Live from Bowling Green, Division 3 points race!
Well, we have had a great time this weekend, except for getting our butts beat. The weekend was just about perfect except for the little bit of rain on Friday and getting started a little late.
The racing was great as usual. Track prep good, too. Thanks to Dallas and Alfreida Jones for providing such a great place to race. And they also gave everyone free entry Sat and Sun to Beech Bend Park. Thanks too to Larry Langston for sending us a whole box of earplugs to use when we bring our granddaughters with us. And thanks to Amy & Kenny Faulk for bringing them to us for him. It was fun seeing Sandra & Jimmy Parker again. We were parked way down away from everything, but maybe at Indy we will have a good spot and everybody can stop by and see us. We should get to Indy by noon or so tomorrow and I will let you know how things are going. More tomorrow. Patsy |
