Yes, conspiracy...what...you prefer it spelled incorrectly?

And Adger, I never thought you were the sort to own a Matty Box...perhaps a NOS bottle in the trunk without any plumbing would be a nice touch as well...it would be about as analogous...

Seriously, what was the UFO / GPS wacko guy name a few years ago? I can't remember...

Dan, I think you're thinking of Top Fool...if I'm not mistaken, Sam had a "bounty" of 10 grand for proof of what he was trying to say was "out there". Myself and a few others out there also mentioned we'd match it....I'm pretty sure that's who you were thinking of.

LMAO Dan...
I figured as much...
Yes, I have owned one... It is now in use by one of my customers.
Helped set a record in a boat.... :~)
I just HAD to see what they were all about... you know my type... I've got to investigate... & check it out...

Too many years have gone by to remember the guy... I'm like you. know it, but it's lost in the gourd head....Sad thing is I'll wake up in the middle of the night to Pee and remember it and forget it by the morning. Does anyone else keep a note pad on the back of the toilet?
Robert it was a guy using that Top Fool name, but his real name got passed around....

BTW... I LOVE the dead horse being flogged... Cool!

Hey Dan,
Good idea on the NOS bottle... or just the NOS plate under the carb.
Might be worth the hassle if you got paid contingency for it... Like a well known IHRA racer got paid for Mopar Valve covers on a Ford or another racer got paid for the parachute in the trunk...
I just might try something like that... Watch for my next DQ... :~)

Groovy, I never knew the real name had been revealed. I must have missed that episode on here. My offer still stands regardless, and even still, who ****ing cares about if he has a button on the wheel or in his helmet, in a video camera, or even up his ***...if one knows how to bracket race and drives his own race, surprisingly, win lights happen. Check out the Scotty Richardson School and Luke Bogacki's tutorials, they don't revolve around if the other guy has something you don't, legal or not...

No not at all, just wondering if it was a new word?

This is not the frist that has used a dummy switch. Some guys got used to the button on the wheel so when they had to move to the peddle it didnt feel right. make good sence to me.
And as for the blinders there are a lot of guys using them.
I dont but I dont care eather. Thanks .....CW

Blinders? Don't need no stinking cardboard. I've known guys that use their arms for blinders as well as helmet visors.

You guys are too much. Do you think a guy like Jeg would knowingly cheat and let a camera in the car???
That button is removable, so that if he wants to switch the car over to SS he can hook the TB up. That is all that it is. He has been working on his driving technique since the car left the shop, and he is merely trying to find his groove.

We spent multiple conversations discussing the rules when we were building the car, because he was adamant about being legal, and so are we.

Just let it be.....how many times do you get to take a ride in a DP stocker? I thought it was neat to see a car I worked on national TV!!
