Well we picked up a little more. Went a 10.51. There were quite a few weighing that round so evidently others picked up, too. The air was a little worse, didn't look to see what it figured yet. Well Keith didn't make it down in the Droozemobile. Don't know just what happened. They were looking for oil to put in the car?????

The weather is kinda crazy. Overcast and black, then blue skies and sunny. Windy, too. Last run 14mph.

1st round matchup.....# 1 AA/S Fezell vs. #32 TS/A Ed F....Fezell's got time to eat his breakfast Egg McMuffin before he even thinks about leaving.....maybe a chance to see how fast this CJ really can go? Tighten those belts, Ed, he'll be coming fast....(although I've seen you overcome icewater-in-your-veins matchups like this many times before).....interesting race, for sure... WJ

My pops gets a heads up race against a new CJ. Though Chris is in E/SA and Dad is in B/SA.... They both will be dialed in exactly the same.. LOL..

Larry, looks like you need to tune up a little. Heads up with a crate motor Mustang.

Yeah, 3 heads up races in Stock, and one in Super Stock.

Larry, that car you have to run makes your buddy Hawk's car look like one they made thousands of. By the way, was Keith Lynch's talent not enough to get the droozemobile down the track? Keith could even get Shrader down the track.

Considering that he has the 2 fastest runs in Stock history (9.411@147 a couple of weeks ago at the E-town Nat. in Q1, and 9.412@148 at the Atco D-1 points race in May); I believe that we have seen how fast it can go. I was at E-town for the 9.411 and, believe me, he ran it all out. The CJs are very soft off the starting but, from the 330' cone to the finish line, the supercharger is at full effect.
As for his first round match with Ed F.; I wouldn't be surprised to see Fezell break out.

Duell (6.1) and Wertman (K.Lynch) 5.7 were the only 2 DP cars to show up at Norwalk? Where's Jeggie and all the others this wknd? Or is it because of the 60 car field thing? WJ

Jeggie seems to be selective in choosing which events he runs the Stocker. He had it at E-town 2 weeks ago (qualified #2 behind Fezell); but now he doesn't have it at Norwalk. You would think with the proximity of Jeg's Mail Order to the Norwalk facility that he would definitely have it at Norwalk. Maybe he wants to concentrate on The Pro Stock Showdown.
