Good run, but it shouldn't of counted. You can't burn across the starting line in Superstock or Stock eliminator.

We couldn't manage to keep Daniel's car hooked up for one single run. Here is an in-car shot.........you can hear the tires break loose before the 1/8th. While spinning in high gear he managed to run an 8.28 and an 8.29, but couldn't compete with Westcott's .22. Looks like we have some chassis issues to work out.

hey if there was anybody writing down times or you was there on Sat and can prove what number you ran, contact me as there is nothing in data for Valdosta except for Sunday elimination runs to go into stats. If i don't hear from anybody by Weds I'm going with just the elimination runs only.
I do have these runs
Westcotts 8.221
Daniels 8.25

I'm trying to get a hold of record sheet to at least include those runs.
Stats goes to Howell's on Weds.

I was standing behind the guy with the video camera, behind the wall. He let off the throttle about 6 feet before the car crossed the starting line. Everyone there saw it. The video makes it look as if he burned out across the line but he did not! Jim

Valid question, but if I remember right. Divisional/Open event burnout limitations are at the discretion of the event director.
