Re: New Horse Power Ratings
You have to be a real pig to write a letter to get hp taken off that combination. The same motor with a smaller throttle body and less compression in a 2008 Mustang GT is 300hp.

Re: New Horse Power Ratings
I wrote about mine, I figured I had wrote about my 69 and never even got a reply, so I tried a new car. But the result was the same so no help, no damage. Am I a pig too?

This car has never been 129 in testing or ever, just another great made up rumor. Charleys car has the MPH of a car that could go 10.70's but the 60' times are over tenth slower than our D/S camaro that goes 10.80s. If you think he has is set up to leave soft your nuts too. He is leaving over 7000rpm, that little motor just doesn't get the car moving until the back half of the track. I'm not saying it is not a underfactored combo, it is just not been as quick and fast as the rumors. |

Brad, Charley run at Martin, Mi 6-4-11 E/FI, 1.52 60ft,4.461 330ft, 6.948 1/8, 99.240 mph, 9.108 1000ft, 10.937 1/4, 123.08 mph. Sixty ft.the same as my M/SA on a good track. Tom

Norwalk was run June 23 - 26. Charley wrote the request before any runs were made by his stocker, two weeks before the event. |
