Re: 2012 Race Camaro
Wow! I'm surprised the Challeneger is as good as it is compared to the others. The recessed grille was a big handicap on '68-'69 Chargers which led to the Daytonas and Superbirds in NASCAR.
It was also said that the blunt-nose Oldsmobiles from 10 or 15 years ago (?) were more aerodynamic than the sleek-looking Firebirds and Camaros. For what it's worth, while I don't care for the Ford 9" "style" rears in Mopars or Chevies, at least it's keeping the aftermarket companies going! |
Re: 2012 Race Camaro
Don't be to surprised of the Challenger's CD, Gary Scelzi pushed a bone stocker to 170 mph in the Mojave desert.

Re: 2012 Race Camaro
Looks like these are the numbers:
75.50 inches wide for the chevy camaro 75.70 inches wide for the dodge challenger 73.90 inches wide for the ford mustang |
Re: 2012 Race Camaro
They all take up a lot of room in the trailer. I open the door to get in & out, turn sideways to walk past the car. As trim as I am, I would have to winch any of those in & out of my trailer. A small guy may not have to.

With that kind of power, it won't be long before the Camaro blower cars will be SS only. The 2010 CJ just got knocked out of Stock today.....SS only now. |
