lets see... you are complaining about the same NHRA and AHFS that simutaneously put +3HP on 283's in an impala while same day took -3HP off 283's in wade owens chevelle (fastest 283 in the world) ???

No he was complaining about the people who ran too fast in a class final, both parties with this same combo. Big difference. He never mentioned the AHFS.

If the horsepower factor is 382 in a Stock Eliminator car,does it stay at 305 for a Super Stock car?

My Olds 455 combo is rated the same in both.I might give Super Stock a try if I could get 75 horsepower off.

I'm not trying to be a smart ---, but how do you determine a race winner if you don't race? Flip a coin? Is that a flaw in the AHFS, Heads up in final should be excluded? Hey, isn't this Racing? Isn't it just human nature to park good sense and run with your ego in the finals of a race? (esp same class cars)

x2 Hagen, over and in addition to the fact that those are two totally different cars and the mid-sized Chevelle was quite a bit heavier (with a totally different suspension system), than the more compact Camaro.

I was just responding to the post that the horsepower that was taken off the 283 in the last couple of days was the stick and not the auto combination.
