John was killed in a traffic accident and that put the kibosh on things or we might have done that a few years ago. Unlike a Thunderbolt there are several combos to change to if the car gets hit in power to the point it's uncompetitive. 4 Webers on a 260 in a 2300lb car would be fun !! Back then we were looking at A thru D stock with the various smallblocks or SS/A with a 428-390hp. Now with the double letter classes even the 427 could be run and the bigblock could run in Stock. |

How does a car ....kit car... a roadster ....become a SS/GT car...don't get me wrong...I have scene this car ...it's beautiful...soft horsepower rating and all...I would love to have it attend the Detroit Autroit Autorama...I'm sure this car has been checked with the NHRA....good luck with your car...great race car....Steve Novosel..chairman Detroit Autorama.....Stocker 3014 A/SA...COPO Camaro

Just wanted to thank NHRA and the staff from the track, the starting line was perfect and they never stopped working on it. I would have thought with the amount of rain Saturday AM that class was gona be cancelled for sure; however NHRA started drying and preping the track before the rain even stopped! Maybe there is hope for class racing after all! Definitely will return :)
