Re: Race Car Names
My dad's car in the late 60's/early 70's was a 55 Chevy called The Gold Digger. So was Jim Boudreu's cars.
Larry Golliday's "Wild Child" AMX is one of my favorites. |
Re: Race Car Names
Back in the late 70's when I bracket raced there was a '56 chevy from Pa called Blitzkreig.
It was black and a brassy yellow. Owner was Bob Blitersdorf I think. Also an anglia called the Whoopie Car.I could sit here all night running them off but they stood out. I first used the name American Graffiti on my original gremlin (a 1973 bought new) then carried the name over to my '77 gremlin stocker. |

Re: Race Car Names
I remember a '56 T-Bird called Mr. Persistent that ran at Milan in the mid '60s. He ruined it by turning it into a flip top roadster.
