PS-I liked your Leboy pro mod vette!

The pro mod was cool, I spent 19 years on the road with that deal. I still have the one I won the championship with in my basement. I guess my family will sale it when I die. Lots of really good memories from those years.

Thanks for the Support Mopar, it's amazing how many supporters we have.
I have about 1,000 emails from 5 or 6 years ago from the people that said this would never work and laughed at me daily. They are not laughing now.
Again thanks for supporting us and sticking up for us when need be.

Hello Quain! It's my pleasure. I learned about S.E.G. from watching "Big Daddy" Dale Wilson's YouTube videos.

I grew up in the 1970s and Modified Eliminator was my favorite category. Then came bracket racing on the local level. :(

Fast forward to the 21st century: High rpm (no electronics) 4-speed cars with cool old school paint and lettering banging gears are back!

I wish I lived a lot closer. I'd love to see the show in person. YouTube videos can only capture so much of the thrill and excitement.

The best of luck in the 2018 season!

Pete

Thanks Jim we do try hard, i'm not really sure why it's working so well but the fans and tracks are loving our style of racing. I guess the thought of going back in time interest a lot of people now days. Oh yea we have a Southeast Gasser you tube page subscribe to it if you want to keep up with the latest video's. Here's the link. Check out the latest back up girl video when you get there.

Not just that. It's the classic cars! And 4-speeds! The simplicity of the race cars too (one you can build at home like was the norm during drag racing's "golden era"). Cool paint, lettering and names which give the cars a personality--unlike today--and unpredictable, high rpm gear-banging runs that keep you on the edge of your seat unlike the mostly automatic transmission-equipped, cookie-cutter race cars of today with their electronics and predictable runs which appear to fans in the stands like slot cars going down the track.

At least that's how I see it.

We are trying hard to get them out to the public. First exhibition race is planned for Clay City Ky May 5th if we get all of our ducks in a row. We are struggling now trying to keep all of the different combinations on a level playing field. Also trying to decide a 7" or 8" spec tire.
We won't put them out until we are sure we have covered all bases.

I sure will, I'm just finishing up the 2018 revisions for the gassers so we should get back on the Super Stock rules before long. Not enough hours in the day. Stay in touch.
