Re: "Live From" the Dutch Classic
We have been down for more than an hour , water weeping up thru the track. Sun is out bright, that usually makes it perculate up thru. The water level is very high here , probably lots of rain over an exended period

Re: "Live From" the Dutch Classic
That would explain why D1TV shows "Track Prep Racing resuming shortly" on the screen and has for some time. Thank you Mr. Casey.

Re: "Live From" the Dutch Classic
We should be back to racing in about 10 minutes. There are about 20 Super Stockers left to run.
Thanks again Doug for the great shots. |
Re: "Live From" the Dutch Classic
Steve Ficcaci did an awesome wheelstand first round of Top Stock.I hope someone got a picture.

Re: "Live From" the Dutch Classic
Done for the day , will finish hemis tommorow. They got 1 round of class in for stock and super stock. My guess is the best winning time will get the class win . I tried to get a final qualifying sheet , but not available. It is random pairing tommorow , so they don't need it for pairings. Hope it shows up , as many just want to see what others ran

Its been a long day, lots of down time. Amazing they got what they got done. They did get the Top Stock final in. It was Steve Ficcaci over Gary Richard. They were evenly matched, with both running 9.85 in the prior rounds. Gary spun hard, Steve ran a 9.85 in the final, it would have been great race.
Don Carson set the record in FS/D, 9.34@142. There were two records set in the Super Stock, Guy DesJardins, SS/EA and Louis Gill GT/FA. I will get the numbers tomorrow. I few photos from Top Stock eliminations. |

Re: "Live From" the Dutch Classic
Jacques Marier Guy Desjardins 9.13, c'est 4 centièmes de mieux que son record et effectivement Louis Gill aussi Ã* 9.17 sur 9.19
And honorable mention to Roger Lafontaine Guy Desjardins 9.13 is 4 hundredths better than his record and actually Louis Gill also 9.17 out of 9.19 "There were two records set in the Super Stock, Guy DesJardins, SS/EA and Louis Gill GT/FA. I will get the numbers tomorrow." |
