However talking to a few friends that are on the fence about going.
Their concern seems to be about heads up runs, as they have cars that are on the slower end of their classes.
And I'm sure there will be a ton of I & J cars there.
For a non sanction race, with no points on the line, and no tear down.
Why have heads up? With this kind of money on the line!
I know, I know, it is how it is done.
But just food for thought, for the higher ups promoting this race.

This is a Class race. Not a bracket race with class cars. There's plenty of high dollar races to run if you want bracket racing.

1. Calvin feel free to promote your own race. Your race...your rules.
2. Who said there would be no teardown?
3. This is JBD's race...they can set up the rules as they see fit. Support it or not...your choice.

Most racers race Stock and Super Stock for the challenge inserted by the rules (which include car, engine, and race conduct...as in indexes and possible heads up runs).

The conduct of the Stock and Super Stock race is becoming more like Comp, where the thought goes into the race prior to and during qualifying.

Let's put this to rest, all the 20k races will be an all run. It does not matter how many entries their are. He is going to run Stock and Super Stock separately until it is down to one car. Then that car will join the other class.

Can I get an AMEN !!!!! .....Why have Heads Up ? ....Because the THREE promoters of this race have decided to. Without Heads Up runs, this is a (. ) race featuring class cars....

I was informed that there will be 2 Tech People at the event. Teardowns are possible.

I am all for the heads up runs. If I go I will be a sitting duck in H and I or J is a def NO lol. My concern was a car coming that nobody knows around here or no record of it running an NHRA race and that car winning a heads up run. For the most part everyone around here knows fairly close to what someone can run. So if a car that goes to a Div race before this race and runs 3 tenths under but comes to this race and wins a heads up run going 1 sec+ under....I would be VERY suspicious, just saying. Saying that, I do think At minimum Jason knows what he is doing. None of my joke comments were aimed at the Race or the Promoters, mostly just making it public knowledge to prevent someone from doing said offense. If things like this are widely talked about it will help alot of what is hurting Stock Eliminator future participation.

From my understanding , they will be heads up, tear downs and fuel check.
Be cool if a qualifying sheet wasn't posted so racers can't play the ladder game. Just one qualifying hit and race, place ladder up.

Just found out IHRA cars will be allowed to enter. A sportsman ladder will be used. Two qualifying runs Friday, the next two days will be one qualifying run.

Nice! Do you know what index’s are going to be used, since there is a big difference between the two.
