Whatever I read about that mess, made no sense to me. Had the ship been loaded up in getting ready for a cruise, was someone/someones mad at somebody, or was it a false flag deal. Somethings that have happened with our navy in recent years don't add up. Thanks, John Kissel

John, They are gong to strip it and take it out and sink it. My boat is just across the bay at Fiddler’s Cove, so I see it every time I go down to sail. It being of the gator Navy, this will take away from the Marine Corps amphibious capability.

But the administration, never made the deal, a choice that now raises questions about whether the United States allowed other countries to take its place in line. Loma Linda VAMC got 600 units to provide with tens of thousands Veterans in Riverside county. My disability and age got me in the door, not some political hack.

just remember fauci said 18 to 24 months before we get a vaccine. 1st shots in 10 months, trump has his problems, but he got it done. and the part about turning down doses was never verified, just like many other claims about trump

For those with shortage of memories, the fruits & nuts laundry lunch guy, new waveo yorke guy and. the copycat n.j. guy, all said they would have to have independent testing completed before they would trust anything brought to us by Pres. Trump. Well, now ya'll got chinee joe maybe running the show, jack him up.

While they were wrong on the time frame. Trump did nothing but let the scientist do their job. How many other countries have also developed a vaccine in about the same time frame?

OK back to the original discussion.
COVID Vaccine Poll
The wife and I did get our second shot of the Moderna vaccine yesterday Monday Feb 1 at about 2:15 PM.
The Amarillo TX Civic Center did not operate quite as efficient with the second shot as the first one. Most of that was due to some getting the second shot and some getting their first shot. The first one took only about an hour and the second took just over two hours to get in and out.
No reaction yesterday to the vaccine for either of us.
This morning both of us have sore shoulders and some minimal swelling of the injection site.
The wife feels fine and I have body aches like the beer truck ran me down and I do not drink beer.
Overall much better than getting Covid.
In about 2 weeks we should be as protected as possible with the vaccine.
It is time to go racing if we can find a place to go.
We were scheduled to go to Tucson late in Feb however, those races have been postponed.
We will wait and see what happens.
Just our experience.
Good Luck to everyone in getting the vaccine. I believe it is worth the time to get it.

Hope you guys know the brand name of the vaccines you are getting.

The Astra-Zeneca vaccine is not recommended for people over 65 years old and it has been banned in many countries. It was also developed in China.

Their vaccine is based on the replication of a Chimpanzee adenovirus and produced in a genetically modified human embryonic kidney. It also contains GMO's, Ethanol and Polysorbate 80. Polysorbate 80 has been linked to colon cancer and Anaphylaxis shock, the same allergic reaction to peanuts and shellfish requiring a shot of Epinephrine.

Update Wednesday Feb 3
Both the wife and I feel fine today with the only lingering side effect is a sore shoulder at the injection site. Not as bad as yesterday so all is better today.
I did get into Las Vegas national this morning so things are looking up if the event can be held.
Fingers crossed that it is a go.
I hope everyone can get the vaccine so we can all get back to the old normal.

Re: COVID Vaccine poll?

I received my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine this morning at my local VA hospital; exactly 3 weeks after my first dose. My wife will receive her first dose of the Moderna vaccine Monday morning Feb.15 at CVS; her second dose is already scheduled for March 15; exactly 4 weeks after her first dose. Hopefully enough people will be vaccinated in the next few months to return to some sense of normalcy in the not too distant future.

Get my second shot on the 25th at Loma Linda VAMC. Still working on getting my wife's first shot (age, too young)
