I think it is unprofessional of the announcer to laugh and make fun of the lower class cars because they are not very fast. There are some really good running cars in the slower classes but they are not capable of running in the 10's.

I would agree with that statement in general, Bob
Brian might make a comment in a moment of levity, but all in all , he seems to like the one off and FWD combos that you don;'t see every day. He seems to seek them out to do interviews. But really, if a guy puts a Taxi sign on his roof, he's probably asking for some good natured jabs.
Alan, on the other hand, seems to think that Stock Eliminator is for the factory muscle cars. In actuality, he couldn't be further away from the truth.

I don't believe he intends to show disdain or disrespect for any Stock competitor, regardless of performance level.

As Mark indicated, plenty of these cars and competitors are self-deprecating and self-labeled in a manner that certainly takes a shot at their own lack of rapidity.

When you compete with a vehicle that is very likely slower than many of the vehicles spectators use to attend the event, you have to have a sense of humor.

In closing....hurry up and take the short chute man. We're waiting.

Wednesday morning super stocks. Did not intend to have all GM in this batch. Next batch will have a better mix.
