It could be for the need to make a quick run back to the RR when stopped in traffic. LOL

Thanks for the picture of Davvid Collette's Cougar. I've been trying to find a picture of the car since I first noticed it in the Q & elimination sheets this year. He's doing something interesting with the car, but I don't know what, exactly.

Grade points, if I had to take a wild stab at it...

On the topic of interesting cars...How about Tom Young's Coronet!? I still can't get over how nice that car is after seeing it at Mason-Dixon last year.

Remember seeing car back in the later 70's @ Sanair ,they were telling me it has always been a race car .
