Thanks, Wayne. Those boys have worked real hard on their new class. And that is a long way to go and not qualify. But, it's Indy and Indy is alway tuff. At least they are not completely enpty handed.

Well three rounds in stock are in the books, no rain, but not looking good. Here are some shots of round two in the lanes. I’m heading over to teardown, I will try to get some picks and info on who is there.

Well we are home now after losing in round 1. We are in severe drought here at home and was hoping to get some of the rain from the hurricane here, but after just a little, it looks like it may have passed us by. I still have some pictures I took at the Mopar cookout and then later that evening at Jeff Teuton's for the awards celebration. So here they are. If I know the people, I will identify them.

Patsy....The screen by the tower can not be seen from down at the end of the bleachers (where we sit). BUT... the other screen (the old one) is right across the track where we can see it very well!

Monster heads-up tomorrow morning - Mike Ficacci, youngest member of the Ficacci Family Racing of East Hanover, New Jersey in his 454 powered '72 Corvette C/SA will face off with former World Champion Jeff Taylor from nearby Sellersburg, IN in his big block '69 Camaro. Ficacci qualified # 73 @ -.907under with Taylor being right there at # 81 @ - .894 under. This race should be worth the price of admission alone ...............Ficacci also had a heads-up at last years Indy event if I remember correctly ------- anyone remember how that turned out ?

We got to watch him do a little 1/8 mile testing at Lyons Raceway Park earier this summer. The car is just unreal and the whole crew are nice guys. Go Bales!
