Jeff the air for the third hit was: dry air 88.5, wet 69, alt. 625', VP .507, 37.31%, 29.26 pressure with a dew point off 59

Well it is crisp and cool this morning. 59 degrees now going up to 77 for a high today. Stock is out bright and early at 8. I see Fletcher is in one of the first 3 pair out. He won't like that!! We get to run "The Brad" as he is referred to for first round!

First round is done for stock, super comp is just about done. Super Stock is in the lanes and super gas is on stand bye. Stock will be out right after super gas. They plan on runing 3 rounds before 11 am.

The weather was about 11 quick for our car, but many were only 4 to 6 quicker. many stockers could not run their number.

Well our tour plans have changed! First round this morning against Brad Plourd, the car got up so high it almost flipped over and Larry had to get out of it. It bent the oil pan, but no leaks on the track. The fenders and doors hit and popped some paint off. So now we are headed home and take everything apart and see what all is hurt. Hopefully we will make it to St. Louis and then on with our trip, but we will have to see how bad it is when we get home. I hope someone at least got a picture! I was up in the stands yelling "sh*****"!

Bet Larry was saying "double sh...." Was listening on audiocast and Reinhart went wild with that wheelstand, kept talking about how nice the car is and that he hoped it didn't get hurt too bad, and we hope that and you'll be able to get everything fixed up for St Louis (or even Columbus). Safe trip home...

Larry, I was going to post a smart az$% reply about enjoying the ride(in the car, not on way home)... but seriously, hope nothing is hurt too bad. That had to be one heck of a wheelstand!
Paint you can fix or at least patch pretty quick (and race without if needed!).
Hope we all get to see the pic's. I am stuck at home watching football (ROLL TIDE) and having a drink or several for all of you racing.
Good luck getting repaired and back on tour soon.

I'm home now but I do have some more photos from yesterday's action. The traction yesterday was awesome as you know from the photos posted. Thanks Mark Lyle and crew for an excellent job on the starting line.

I was so sorry to here about Larry's damaging wheelstand. It was the talk of the pits along with Jeff Myers COPO. I hope to see Larry and Patsy back on tour.

This first batch is the finals in FS classes along with second round of stock.

Just wondering if anyone has seen any pictures of Larry's fateful wheelstand. Seems the pros can take plenty of pictures of the circus, but not many of the real supporters of the sport and not a business only type attitude.

Isn't that it posted on pg.21 of this thread against Jeff Myer's COPO? If not,, its still one heck of a wheelstand series that was caught by the photographer. I'm hoping the damage won't affect the Hill's Autumn Leaf Tour too badly.
