Well it has been quite an exciting day today! Lots of surprises on who did not make the show. I heard this suggestion today. Next year have the manufacturers put up money for their shootout==maybe $10,000 each and let all the new cars run their own eliminator. They knocked out a lot of really good cars from running Stock eliminator. And they have no AHFS on Tuesday. We went fast and we will get those consequences next week. If they are going to run with us, they should have those same consequences next week. That's my story and I am sticking with it!!

Well I guess I will have a front row seat for pictures from the teardown tomorrow! We were invited, along with Cooter Hidalgo, Dic Geary, and Michael Iocono. That is all that I have heard so far.

Well more tomorrow. I guess I need to get a good night's sleep for all the help I will be in the barn!

Has anyone heard what is plaguing Stan Holt's SS/G entry? I've been listening each round and that car seems to be having a hard time parting with the starting line. I'm pulling for him. Hope he has it figured out by morning. We made the show on our last attempt in '08. A real nail biter!!

I forgot to thank Dave Walther for his help on my trans repair, thanks Dave. Man do I have a lot to learn!

5:45 A.M. and out to the trailer to get the car ready for the barn. Without the "barn" it will not mean as much.

Farthest under I remember was Charles Blossom a couple of years ago
with a turbo PT Cruiser convertible that he drove to the track. 2.10 under I seem to recall. Folks please correct me if I'm wrong.

I saw Dick Lux Lightning Bolt SS/M 64 Mercury cyclone 289 at BIR nationals saw him in staging Lanes at Indy but don't see a pass from him did he Run?

The truck comes in real handy, very few can haul every thing they need to do a complete tear down to the barn in what they're racing.

Ok it is raining again here. Just came back from the barn Gullet was almost all back togeather. Got to meet Ken in the staging lanes for SS class had the in car camera in his hand and went in Troys wagon for first round of class so every body in the northwest the last 4 weekends that saw his wheel stands get ready. Thanks Ken. Oh yea Troy won that round. When we got back to the trailer found out he got an invite to the barn. So a busy day Tomarrow with Storms in a heads up and Troy in the barn.

Jim, glad you are having a good time. I guess when they say go, you go. Like Dion said, when the cars are unknown they might get sent to the barn. I am sure the cars will pass the barn just fine.

I love the picture of the tech official sort of standing INSIDE Larry's engine bay. I can remember the days when there was lots of room in the engine compartment. You couldn't do that now unless there was no engine in it.
