You know he and Justin are friends but that will go out the window at these last 3 races. It's going to be fun to watch.

Jerry had his championship, Ryan has his, now it's Brians turn to get one for the family.

They called the race for today. More rain so finish tomorrow. Stock out at 8:00. Get a good nights sleep, Brian. You've still got work to do.

After +/- 3 rounds for most the rains came again! Restart with stock at 8:00 am. How many times can you do that in one weekend????

We’re done for the season. Good luck to all the rest of the season and safe travels.

Sorry we have not been around today for updates, but we drove over to see our good friend Jim Cimarolli for the first time in a bunch of years. I have pictures but Photobucket is not being nice again, so I will post when I can !! It was really great to see him.

I guess everyone knows by now that Leah Pritchett with Kevin Helms as Crew Chief won the Factory Showdown Championship for 2018. Then she won the Fall Nationals. Congrats to all involved with that cool operation!!

The rains came again so everything is cancelled til 8 in the morning! Rain is on the agenda for tomorrow also, so I hope they get it all in.

Bobby Brannon, one of the nicest guys I know, with his new best friend Dominic! The black paint on Miller's Camaro looks flawless.
And don't ask about the genius who parked the car in what turned out to be a suddenly appearing lake...

In the shower. Got a late start this morning.
Couldn't be happier for him. I think that makes him #1 in points.

How many points did he get?

Re: “Live” from our Bread basket tour!!

He was improving on a 2cd round loss(40) and you get 105 for the win so he improved his total by 65.

He improved on his 40 point showing earlier in the year so he added 65, bringing him to 690 which is indeed one point more than Justin. He can still improve on a 50 point national at either Vegas or Pomona. Don't recall exactly how many points Brad Burton accumulated a few years ago but he's in rarified air; impressive to say the least. Justin would have have to R/U or Win at the Vegas Divisional (assume it will be a 128 car field again) to even improve his total.

Well we stayed at the track today until the finals were over. Congrats to Brian for the win and Cooter for the runner up!! Also Congrats to David Rampy for his runner ups in Super Stock and Comp! I just knew he was going to get that 100th win there! It was probably well that he didn't because there would not have been any fan fare at all. They were not even announcing who was going down the track at the track!!! Hopefully he will get it next week at Charlotte, closer to home!! Also Congrats to Brandon Bakies for his win in Super Stock!

We have arrived at the RV park at Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Ok. We plan to stay here until we can get in at Noble. There are a few rigs in here already!!

"Thunder Valley Raceway Park Noble, Oklahoma
1 hr · ...

***ATTENTION LODRS RACERS***

The NHRA Division Race at Thunder Valley has been postponed due to the weather. The new dates for the event will be October 26th - 28th.

Unfortunately the weather forecast for this upcoming weekend keeps getting colder and wetter. That, coupled with the rain we have already received, makes trying to make this race happen nearly impossible. In addition to the paramount concern of racer safety, we also want to save everyone the time, money and aggravation of attending a cold, muddy and rainy event that we don’t have confidence in finishing.

We hope everyone will be able to adjust their schedules and be able to attend the event at the end of the month.

For our TVRP bracket racers, please note that the two-day season finale Summit ET Event will be moved to November 10th and 11th.

Thanks for your understanding and please help spread the word. More information will be released next week."

So glad they made the decision this early! We were on our way to the laundromat this morning when Jimmy called and told us. Just left laundry in car, went back to campground and checked out and now we are headed home!! 639 miles!!

If you are ever down Thackerville, OK way, the Winstar campground is the nicest we have ever been to! All concrete roads and pads and plenty of room to make turns and get in and out! We highly recommend it! Plus I won a little money again at the casino last night!

Got home today at 2:00 pm CST and just under 2000 miles for the round trip. We had a great time, saw a lot of old friends, and made a few new ones.

The pits in Texas were so dusty, I will never complain again if we have to park on the grass. There was so much dust in the air that a MSHA inspector would have shut it down. After the rain mud.

Larry and Patsy, I always love the photos and comments that are a part of each trip you do. Your "Live From" threads are always fun to read and keep all of us informed.

Since this trip got changed for you, are you going to any other races or are you done for the year???

Thanks guys!

Actually, Larry is in Indianapolis this weekend for the D3 Open. I stayed home to do 3 weeks of laundry!!

We are still planning on running the D3 divisional at St. Louis next weekend for our last race of the season. We will be doing more "Live" from there. If Larry gets a chance, I am sure he will do a little updating from Indy!!

Well we are here in St. Louis for the last leg of our bread basket tour! We are parked and ready to do a little testing tomorrow ! There are quite a few people here already. It is going to be cold here this weekend! The chance of rain is less now. Only 20% chance on Friday and the rest of the time good but just cold! Test and tune from 1-7 tomorrow!

More later!

Tomorrow should be fast !!!

Re: “Live” from our Bread basket tour!!

40*, 30.10, 57%

It's fast, 1.20+ fast. T and T will be fast if the track is ready.

For you racers not familiar with the AHFS please reread, it explanes mineshaft conditions, averages, and application of power for over 1.20 under runs!

St Louis is the last grade point avable at a quality track east of the Mississippi.
