Re: Class Nationals event planning
For those who are venturing west/north towards Columbus and looking for a warm-up event, if you haven't been out that much this year (or at all), we are having a S/SS combo race at Pittsburgh Raceway Park the Saturday before (April 26th). They are also doing a chassis certification there, for those who will need a re-cert soon.

Re: Class Nationals event planning
Just a friendly reminder that we are running under the current NHRA HP's for the SS & Stock, except for the extra IHRA classes that are added in.

ATTENTION GEEZERS! Dick Butler of Grandpa's Garage is posting $100 to the OLDEST Class Winner in Lucas Oil Class Eliminations! Who's got the most old age and treachery (er... experience!) when it comes to going fast? Sorry, amount of false teeth, knobby knees, bad backs, and/or lack of hair do not qualify as age verification. Maybe being carded one last time won't be so bad if it means a cool $100! ;-) Young or old, there's a TON of memory lane to be strolled through at Grandpa's Garage, conveniently located off I-70 Exit #59 in Springfield, OH, just west of Columbus. Stop by on your way to the event! They're open 7 days a week, 10am-6pm. Look them up on Facebook, and on the web at www.i70grandpasgarage.com UPDATE! X-TECH MAN Terry Bell respects his elders, so he's kicking in an additional $100 toward the OLDEST Class Winner award! (Totally off-topic... You know, if we could get these guys to pay you in all pre-1980 pennies, it'd actually be worth about $800 because of the copper. LOL) |
