I think I have the only Full Size stickshift Big Block Chevrolet stocker running. I run I/S heavy (4095 lbs) H/S natural with a 396/325 HP - gone 11.70's in I/S

Only one busted gear set in over 90 passes! (they were "street gears" too, have Pro gears now!)

Hope to be racing this year- I know there is more with this combo-

Hey Joe ! Living in South Carolina - will call.

I think Jim Wahl with his Cimarron or Spirit is two unusual combos for the sport but great race cars none the less, or Bill Howell and his Dodge minivan. Of course being a turbo Dodge guy, I may be slightly bias.:D

Oh hell yeah...it has the rare 9.0 liter four-OHC four valve twin turbo ''Oldsrock'' motor.

I had the better light by .017, and I think I led by about two inches in that race. Bucky was across the finish line before I was at the 1/8 mile. I petitioned to be able to compete in the Hemi Shootout that weekend, but my pleas fell on deaf ears.

LOL! As long as he hadn't reached his pit space yet, then there is no harm done. Neat car for sure though.

Mark Yac--How do you know so much about NW drag racers i.e., John Bartlett? -- How about Ted Rhode, Paul V. Smith, Sanderson Bros. etc??

Back in the day Pruitt, Reid & Heinson ran a 1963 Ford Custom 300 2door sedan in SS/X - The car was powered by a 164hp 260 2v and ran low 14's at 96 mph --on an index 14.70--
