Me too. Congratulations "Way-nee", like the late Vinnie Napp used to call Wayne Paul Bailey. You've earned it! W.P. you know who this is if you're reading this post. If not, here's a hint: I used to work at RP from 1992-96 in the Half Scale Dragsters, Inc. division. :) In the beginning, you helped out some with UPS shipments. :)

All the best!

Good morning -- The rains have ceased - finally .And believe it or not today is to be a very sunny , crisp day that'll be perfect for racing with lower everything - temps and humidity included .At this hour its 67 degrees and the humidity is still 70% but is expected to burn off quickly this morning .The barometer is a little lower at 29.71 with the final DA @ just over 1500 feet .

There are many opinions floating around as to who's going out on the track first this morning - so far I've heard every category at least once - once I get the official word we'll post it - plenty of time as we can't start engines till 10 am.

Back in a bit .............

Sorry everyone for the lack of reports. I lost second round and had to head out early. It was a beautiful day to race, temps were in the mid 70's and comfortable. Congrats to all the winners, DRC has all the results and it looks as if there was some great racing. This was the last D1 race, and from the looks of the point standings there will be some D1 racers heading south.

John DiBartolomeo of DRAG RACING ACTION Magazine www.dragracingaction.com sent me some more great actions shots, thanks again John.
