What can you tell me about this car and photo? Looks like some 9000 rpm 283 type of thing with a 100 pound flywneel.

Also carries 7:17 gears,, and was recently seen on the Las Vegas edition of "Pass Time", along with Bob's 327/4 speed Nova, and other west coast Stock and Superstock racers. One of my favorite episodes.

Danny, do you have any photos of Fred Duecker (sp) s green J&K Stick 65 Chevelle, Pat Brooks M&N/SA 64 Chevelle 2 dr wagon, Or Gord Merkleys blue 66 Chevelle SS/F stick? I`m useless at posting pics!

Rory,, I'm sorry to say that I don't have photos of any of those racers. When I think of Gordon's '66,,, I can't help but remember the famous wheelstand (and crash landing) from the Monsters Of Launch video, courtesy of Larry Pfister's Horsepower Heaven days.
I hear Gordon has another car nowadays and the Chevelle is gone,,, whats he racing now?

Gords been running a blue 68 Z28 in D/S for the past few years, but has been working on a 396/375 with alum.. heads for CC/S.The Chevelle went to Sweden several years ago.
