Re: LIVE from Columbus NHRA JEGS Sportsnationals
Anyone know how the T.S. driver that wrecked made out? We left just after they flew him out but they hadn't announced anything about his condition prior? Just hope they were OK.

Competion plus site says he was released later in the day.

Thanks, good deal I'm always leary when I see the chopper come in, glad they were OK.

Did a compression check and everything came up even, so I believe I lucked out and did not bend the rod with the fuel-flooded cylinder. Sent all the injectors off to Keith Brewer at Injector Experts for ultrasonic cleaning and testing. (They are also a contingency sponsor for the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals... check them out at www.injectorexperts.com for some cheap maintenance!)

I believe Keith is getting back into S/SS racing and bought a car this year, so we should start to see him at the race track next year. Guess I need to talk him into setting up a mobile service in his trailer! |

The starting line crew did an excellent job of keeping the 'teeth' in the track..
