Did a lot of hiking in the last two days, trying to reach as many people as possible with flyers and decals for the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals next spring. While I always run into a handful of people that haven't heard about the race, most already had, and people are excited! It feels great to have everyone pulling in the same direction. As long as he has no conflicting races, we will likely be able to add Dave Ley to our staff, which would be outstanding.

I was just wore out from the sun and all the walking, and crashed for an hour or so this afternoon. After I finally ate something, I felt much better.

I was honored today to have the National Dragster staff do a photoshoot with Terry Knott's F/SA Dart Sport that I am fortunate enough to be allowed to shoe. Look for it in an upcoming Featured Flyer.

Busy morning scheduled for tomorrow, with several rounds of sportsman racing jammed into the a.m. hours before the big guns take center stage. I haven't seen a revised schedule since we didn't get to E2 of Stock, but presumably we're first out again at 8:45. There's a slight chance of some scattered showers tonight, but most of it will be north of us, and it's not supposed to be around in the morning, so we're fine. It'll just clean some clutch dust off the track. ;-)

Good morning members - day three here at the Auto Plus Nationals is still dark ( with the NHRA Safety Safari already out prepping the track ) but looking like another winner just like yesterday only a tick cooler.The experts are saying the bad weather has missed us and thank God for that .

Because of the some Sportsman racers being pre-empted yesterday today will be action packed especially for the Stockers who will have three rounds this morning and another this afternoon before being allowed a breather .

I must say that because of all our 'free' time most teams spent the afternoon doing maintence and cleaning - not to mention just sitting in the Sun BSing with the fans and friends - you can't imagine how much this teams trailor is better off because of it .Nothing big but just stuff that needed attention .

As advertised Stock will be out first again this AM somewhere around 8:45 - I'll be back after that round .............

Stock rd2 is finished - starting line wasn't as good as yesterday - about .01 to .015 off .The humidity was the big factor this morning - many ( including myself ) couldn't run their number as it was thick .....S/S on the track now .

OK, I'm over it .Losing second round at my home track is no fun but i'll make the best of it .There are some benefits to losing early - walking around seeing the sights -plenty of nice cars and with the weather today there are a few other sights to take in .So i'll just enjoy things and take some pictures to share with the members .

As for racing both Stock and S/S have completed their 3rd rounds and will have at least one more .And how about that race between the Biondo brothers ? You had to be here but Sal won it .........later !
