Well it is a cold morning here at SGMP, but the sun is shining. It is 37 now, going up to 70. We are scheduled to begin at 9 with Super Street, then Stock. The weather is showing it being 50 by 9, but I don't know if the track will be warm enough by then. Needless to say, we are ready for a day of racing!

We want to thank Jeff Adkinson and his family for the big pig roast he threw over in his pits last night. The whole pig was cooked and it was wonderful. I have some pics that I will post. They laid out the pig, then pulled the meat from it. Really cool! And then there was a birthday celebration for Willie! With good cake!

Thanks again Jeff. To me this is what racing is all about. Good food, good friends, good times!

I will post more later after things get started around here.

And yes, by more rumors here, it does sound like we will probably go to Gainesville next week instead of staying here!

We just made our 1st run of 2014 and it wasn't a very good one. 62 stockers went down that time. Track seemed to hook pretty well for most. Butch Payne did something to his that caused a clean-up. Don't know what happened.

Ms Patsy, do you know if live timing is going to be working at the track this weekend? It says "waiting connection from track" but I've learned that doesn't mean a lot. LOL

Sorry Mack.. I'm not getting anything. 1320go just says it is "connecting to track" but it apparently is not working because it never connects. And there is zero information on drag race central. So I guess we have to wait for Ms Patsy to post results for us...
