I wouldn't expect an official announcement either but I thought they would at least add his name to the suspended drivers list, which they have not. Makes you wonder.

I have been racing S/SS for the past 4 years, I started in the .90 classes. The one thing I have learned is that S/SS racers complain ALOT and have excuses for everything not to race either IHRA or NHRA.

I am fortunate enough to be able to race IHRA, NHRA, ECSSSA races, and have a ton of fun doing it!

Rich, when you lose a final round to a guy that was later found to be cheating, I'll bet you will be singing a different tune. I also like racing IHRA & NHRA so as long as everyone is on a level playing field. That's what rules are for.

I do not like cheaters just like any other racer. My point was that one racer should not be a reason "not" to run with an entire association.

I believe the point is everyone would like to know if there is punishment or not

I agree with you, I am not going to stop racing NHRA & IHRA because of one person. However, the argument here is, if this person was indeed cheating, the sanctioning body for the sake of all class and division racers needs to delegate firm punishment. If you don't, cheating will run rampant and/or discourage the honest racers which in the long run may potentially hurt car counts. I don't know who this discussion is pointed at (and I don't really care) but, it sounds like this isn't the first time he/she has been caught cheating. Because of the multiple violations, the sanctioning body needs to deal with this person with a heavy hand if the allegations are true.
