Toad, I mean Todd. I agree, what a fool I have been. Retired, never had a race car, go in AH. Use over $15k of MY after tax money to honor my new racing friends the late Tim Hebert and mentor Big Joe Tueton Shootouts purse money. Trying to keep the class alive as Mopar waned with the payouts. Thinking my sanctioning body biannual fees were keeping all of us in check. What a FOOL I am. As Happy said to Chubs "I'm stupid. You're smart. I was wrong. You were right. You're the best. I'm the worst. You're very good-looking. I'm not attractive. " Phish |

Re: Lane Choice
Stephen,
I don't have a horse in SS/AH but you do, you do have the right to make comments about other SS/AH competitors, cars and engines. I haven't. Seen Todd Hoven ever listed as a competitors in SS/AH. He doesn't own a car to the best of my knowledge, he's just a driver for Mr. Carp. Todd is a hater without a SS/AH car, so please take his disrespect with a grain of salt. I wish you the best in your battle with Nhra and Hemi engine builders. I believe the Bartons are good honest people. JR. and SR. Are not honest people, ask any of his small block chevy customers in the late 90s or 2000s. Wish Dave Layer / heads up could tell you about JR. and SR. Good Luck Gary Tolefson |

Read every post, its either about me, Wayne Truesdale (a friend), Matt the engine guy ( worked for him), Randy Hopkins (friend). Gary Tolefson = Joe Skinner, thats my theory. Douche. crook. convict. Dave Layer was my friend, so I dont know what you are talking about. I have good relationships with every customer I have ever had, And I am not going to get in a war here on class racer about it. Leave my family out of your miserable existence. cw |
Re: Lane Choice
Gary, while it’s true I don’t own or run an AH car. I’m a crew guy for one the prominent Barton AH customers. Your buddy Steven spews a lot of venom toward him, other people and creates a lot of turmoil as he’s a disrespectful competitor and loves controversy. He talks like he’s Muhammad Ali but he’s really Chuck Wepner. In the end your take on things is about as valuable as mine is.
Phish, your a jackass. And all your talk is shallow and without substance as the last two years you’ve come to race Indy proves it. I hope your success continues just like the last two years. Quote:

Re: Lane Choice
So after all this and back on the original topic, do we all agree that "Lane Choice" for ALL class runs and eliminations will be a "coin toss", like it states in the NHRA rulebook? Dyno

Re: Lane Choice
Todd,
I made the mistake off judging you by your post about Stephen. I have never met Stephen or you, I thought you were judging him because his car was slow, his age or budget. You have proven yourself as a driver and I'm envious of the Barton Powered 65 Dodge you drive. Gary Tolefson Rapid City, SD and Peoria, AZ. 602-935-6078 |
Re: Lane Choice
Keep it simple toss the coin and go race.
