Hi Jake, we used to do some stuff with Bruce when he ran the Max wedge car.I had to double check. It was accurate.I got the low down on one of the other Dart's bought in the Detroit this week.Still alive and well.Just hiding.

Probably won't help much but I remember one of those darts showing up at Old Dominion Dragstrip in Manassass, Va. It was new and I think grey primer and automatic. It belonged to a car painter at a bodyshop in Fairfax , Va. He later painted it, don't know the color and named it the Cookie Duster. Don't ever remember seeing it again after that first day but did hear it was more than he wanted to handle and sold it shortly after. Memory ain't what it used to be.

Mike, I've been straining my old pea brain for days but just won't come to me. I'll keep at it and ask some of the guys that were around then.------Danny

Anyone recall a hemi dart campaigned out of vermont in the early 70s, wearing white or partially white paint scheme?

Ron ran his in a/mp on that weekend. Mike Dawson also had his ss/aa cuda there that was painted yellow and orange. Jay Montrose had his yellow and orange cuda there running in c/sm. So there was 4 yellow and orange cars there that race. The A/MP car is the one that Ron crashed at Indy latter that year. Jake
Mike now that I think of it I don't think Ron ever drove the car that Bruce got.??????????????

Not a Hemi but a Mancini and a Dart.

M68,

Nice photos of Charlie's SS/BA Dart (2nd car), which he purchased
from Tom Crutchfield out of Kokomo, Indiana in May 1969.

Notice in the staging lane photo.
The white front fender of the Centolanza Brothers 1967 R/O Plymouth
Hemi Belvedere (sneaking into the picture), just behind Charlie's Dart.

Both cars were Dover Drag Strip regulars 1968 thru 1971.
