Sox & Martin selling 'race-ready' 1968 SS/B Barracuda's in 1969
for $10,000.

Turn key, and guarantee 10.50's @ 130 MPH.

Nobody could build them for less money.
How many went through their shop?????

good question Paul and one that i wonder about too. how many cars did S&M prepare and how many were built from legit cars and how many were "built" from regular Barracuda's?

Any idea who this is? I can only make out "Jerry's Automotive" on the door.

The Jerry's automotive car was driven br David Heath out of Owensboro ky.. It was owned by Dr. William Pearson a silent partner. David died of cancer in the early 70's. David was one of the original owners of the 65 awb Ky. Colonel dodge.

Hemi Moose;
The Judy Lilly car (1970 photo, SS/AA).
That was by far the best paint job on any of her cars.
Very clean paint scheme.
And 10.40's to boot.
Only $8000 invested,,,,,,,,,,,YIKES.

On the Speedwin Automotive SS/BA Dart.
Joe Jill wasn't always behind the wheel.
Joe also built the Hemi for Charlie Castaldo's 1st Dart.
The 4-speed car.

Purple Barracuda.
SS/B is lettered on the 'C' pillar.
Check out the rear wheel wells,,,,,molded edges.
David Heath.........Could be the Kentucky Colonel car.
Primarily 'Match-raced' in the mid-south.

"This car has a great history. It was actually found in a junkyard. Crazy huh!"

More like totally clueless and ignorant "auto murderer" as someone I once knew used to describe it. Fortunately
someone with intelligence was able to rescue this rare gem.

Speaking of rarity, here's another one:

I wonder what this car's fate was?
