Drooze.....It's a tough way to make new friends.........

Personally I would not be to happy about all the failures you folks have had regardless of why.......

The time....effort, and money you've spent should have more to show for it than what you have had so far......I'd be seriously burnt out in more ways than one.....

I don't know Keith Lynch.....but I've seen him race his black Camaro at Maple Grove......it was very impressive.....stick with him and he should surely be able to help you......

Well it is a beautiful morning here in Norwalk. They have already called us up. More later

Well when you come to a gunfight with a butter knife, the results are usually obvious. And so it was. But Larry did what he could --picked up another tenth and had a .003 light, but it wasn't enough. drc has probably already posted, but we lost 10.41 to a 10.21. Oh well, we are packing up now, so more later when we get on the road.

I was at E-town for the 9.411 and, believe me, he ran it all out. The CJs are very soft off the starting but, from the 330' cone to the finish line, the supercharger is at full effect.
As for his first round match with Ed F.; I wouldn't be surprised to see Fezell break out.

He thought he might have a heads-up race with George Widuch first round and was at the credential trailer waiting for them to post the ladder. Well, he found out that he did have a heads-up race with George. Then I guess somebody told him to have a nice trip home. Guess who this person was? It was none other than Larry Hill.

Well, Larry, I just have one thing to say to you:

Have a nice trip home! :)

I'm sure Larry was just clowning around, a lot of people take Larry far too seriously. And one thing is for sure, Larry can take it just as well as he can dish it out.

Larry. No one can win them all but I applaud you for the effort. As I tell anyone who will listen "do the best you can with what you have today".. You did that, safe trip home and keep your head high.

You did good, Larry.

Most fun I've ever had losing was in my first-ever heads-up run, with Rusty Canfield. He had me covered by about .80 in qualifying, and only beat me by .20. Darn near felt like a win!

From what I gather...they are still only using part throttle. Last year, the CJ's in Brett Hajak's stable were set at 56% throttle. Think on that awhile.

Was a time that any time you raced a Widuch, Little, etc heads up you could pretty much bet on a early trip home; and there is nothing wrong with that...they thought more, tested more, and worked more-pure and simple. With CJ's and DP's everywhere it's not that way anymore; I know this has been beat to death but until the factors are fixed I'd almost think it was better to stay at the trailer, a protest if you will.

No, show up and run, never take it laying down.
