I just finishing talking to the NHRA officials. They will start parking at 9 am. No saving spots, if you want to park next to someone, you have to wait in the field and go in with them.

The are sending Tech out to the field to tech us in while we wait to be park.

It was nice pulling in last night around 10:30 and getting parked in the staging lanes!!

Mid afternoon and about 80% of the rigs are parked. The guys parking us are doing an outstanding job. NHRA Tech is out and about teching all cars. No need to go anywhere, they came to us.

Its a beautifully day as you can see from the picture, a little windy but still nice.

Schedule for tomorrow is still the same, with stock being the first out at 8:45.

Tech officials coming to the pits to tech cars is a great idea

And things like this will make that decision, if I am ever lucky enough to be able to make it, that much easier.

This statement sounds like something that would come out of Don Kennedy. Weird!?

The filed were most of the s/ss park is a 50/50 mix. Some good spots some not, but it is draining well. There are some nice spots behind were comp will park along the fence.

The newly paved area near the barn is for alcohol. I talked to Redman for bit, he was just giving me the heads on were they are parking all the classes.

The pictures show the parking area to be okay, but like I said there are some soft spots, they could turn into mud if rigs are parked there. Right now I think they would be able to park 150 rigs in the good spots if they chose to.

Its still cloudy but the sun is trying to come out. Its cold and a little breezy, temp is about 55, but at least its not raining.

Not many more rigs came in, still about 130 in the field.

Are those pictures of a rice paddy ?
