Michael, the way you save space, I bet you rewind adding machine paper and use the other side.

[. Also on Westcotts last run it is hard to see on the video but the water box was half way to the starting line. So cars were going a little farther with there burnouts. Great runs by both racers. Fun to watch.[/QUOTE]

Charlie also pulled 5 to 6 feet past any water that was in the water box when he did his burnout (as shown clearly in the video provided for us)

If you all want to start a class action letter about my burnout, than get started on it. I pulled out of the water cause the guy sprayed the hose in the box EVERY TIME a car pulled out of it, I never got the tires to hook out of the water once unless I went forward more than normal. The track was cold, and the water trailed 6 feet out of the box. I think its funny that people want to bitch about this, and I have seen 2 or 3 hemi cars this year go 150+ with no parachutes on, and that doesnt seem to be an issue. One of them won a race this year.
I won a piece of paper.

Good for you, all that water that close to the start line is a pain in the *** anyway.

Have watched you over the past years and you got it together my man.

Very impressive. Ignore them.

Section 2 - Race Procedures
Page 2.1

Divisional event burnout limitations
are at the discretion of the event director.

I assume that would go the same for Opens.

No qualifying sheet from this race? Anybody getting horsepower?

I totally agree, Charlie was just adapting to the track conditions and too much water being put down. I was just reading prior comments and analyzing a video, that's all...

According to the 2009 rulebook, page 41, it specifies at National Events (only) S/S, Stk, SG and SSt cannot burn across the starting line.

I also noticed what seemed to be way too much water in the burnout box.

Good job Charlie. That run was impressive. Your clutch tuner deserves a raise.
