I just went over and talked to them. It was basically a check out pass. He left at a low RPM (2.01 60 ft) and lifted at 1000 ft. They said it was still 6 MPH faster at half track than their old car. They said the next pass will be a lot faster.

Thanks again for all the pic's and updates. BTW, in post #64 is that Mack Reeves Challenger? I can't tell for sure from all the tire smoke.

After multiple changes to the schedule, Stock will not run first round tonight. I believe this is final, but you never know.

I was told by Ron (Andy's Dad) that the 512 went 9.87 at 137.

No, that's Tom Gaynor's old DP. John Hill is driving it at this race. Word is that Tom traded his DP for the Cavalier he's driving in Super Stock.

Doesn't seem like the desert with temperatures in the 60's!
