Sorry Ken, had some extra time so I uploaded these. These have some of the Ken and Sheehan, otherwise they wouldn't put them on here. If anyone wants to get email copies of their cars, just send me your car number and an email address. Also, one of Grace Howell before she blew it up.

Ed, the weight breaks are so wide in FWD that even at 225 heavy he probably isn't even close to the next class. Jim

Re: "Live From" NHRA 4-Wide National
anyone know what engine Gary Russel's 67 E/S Camaro is running? It is a 302? Used to be one near me called the Purple Haze that John Heck drove. At one time it was an E/S 302 until he put an aluminum head 396 in it. I think he sold it to someone in Tennessee a couple years ago.

Good morning all, its a 53 right now partly sunny, going up to the low 70's.
Temp 53 Humid 78% Bar 29.49 DA 586ft Here are some more pictures from John DiBartolomeo, DRAG RACING ACTION Magazine. I want to thanks Michael, Tom and Butch for some great photos. Going to make it short, need to get ready for class, I don't have much of shot, but going to try anyway, be back later. Chris I will ask Gary. |
Re: "Live From" NHRA 4-Wide National
Yes, Ed that would be the case, however, as Jim explained the wide weight breaks would require me adding over 400lbs to make the next class. I'm sure if it were A-B-C cars that were 225 heavy and 400 light, they would scream bloody murder.
First call for Class.... 54.7 F, 79%, 29.43, 599' DA |

Re: "Live From" NHRA 4-Wide National
They're going to re-run Joe Reid and I. I have no idea why, but was told we'll re-run during the 2nd rnd of Class due to a "computer error". Not sure what the error was, because he beat me any way you slice it. They gave us a heads-up start... Was it supposed to be handicapped? Ahdunno. Clear as mud. There's another pair or two that will also be re-run for the same reason(?)
Wind hasn't turned around as it was predicted, still cross-head. 58.7 F, 76%, 29.43, 913' DA |
