LOL..... In 1955 I can't help but think that many protests were settled with fists.

My Dad was at that first race. He was stationed at a nearby Air Force base. He and his buddies were car enthusiasts but they went looking for women. At the time he had no clue how big drag racing would be in his life.

Drag racing is way less expensive than getting married then divorced !

Larry and Patsy, you are amazed by the windmills because as a small businessman you are amazed at government waste in action. Don't know which one is more costly, the windmills or the solar panels, Do away with them and take the savings and let the COPO guys use it to fund the hunt for more Horsepower. Now that was just too easy. At least I thought it was pretty good.
