Re: IHRA going back to class racing
Again, the IHRA has been a clown show for the last 20 years with numerous owners so why would anybody think this time is going to be any different especially with this guy at the helm?

Re: IHRA going back to class racing
I think the most interesting thing here is where will they run these Nitro Jams? Not many good tracks in this area are IHRA, some of the better ones have gone with WDRA that aren't NHRA. Will be interesting to say the least but they seem to have plenty of money backing this venture judging by the Facebook posts that I have seen.

They've been posting that they've already sold many many new memberships just in the last few weeks since PRI. Judging by this image IHRA posted, it looks like they've sold around 900 memberships since the event. I'm not sure exactly how much a membership is, but if it's $100 or so, that's $90,000. https://i.postimg.cc/pXR5qbsR/IMG-6751.jpg |
Re: IHRA going back to class racing
Time will tell but history says it will fail again and it doesn’t help that the guy running it has a shady rep .

Re: IHRA going back to class racing
They posted about "possibly" going back to Memphis but, just looking at the pics I've seen of the track, it's going to need A LOT of work to get it back up and running to it's old self.
