If you ran IHRA, you could go to Montgomery (double-header... missed seeing you there...), Clay City (double header), and Jackson (double-header), for less than 31 hrs drive time. You could add Darlington (double-header) and get a full 8 races in and your total is still under 47 hrs. To get your full 8 races in NHRA, you'd have to add Gainesville, and No Problem, which takes you up to 93.5 hrs just to chase 8 Divisionals.

To run a Divisional schedule in NHRA, you're not only looking at TWICE the mileage, but also 24 to 32 days wrapped up in it which includes many lost days of work, as opposed to 8 to 12 days (only 1 work day if you're smart) to chase IHRA. Oh, and if you want to chase the World Championship in NHRA, start looking at adding the time and travel for 3-6 Nationals, too. IHRA, finish Top 3 in the Division and you get a free ride into a $10,000 to win (plus contingency, etc) World Championship Tournament. If you'd like to improve your chances, you have 3 National events within 9 hrs. They're only 2 day events, and you're done early on the second day, so you don't lose much travel time. It's a little more of a stretch, but you could make the national at Crandall, TX too, at 11hrs (easy driving road, too), which is closer than Palm Beach, Immokalee, and Martin are for me.

Maybe some people haven't put a pencil to it and really figured out what opportunities are out there. I can help people find schedules and explain various programs if they need help. Just holler.

I think most are just afraid they might have to run against you in the first round.......lol.

I heard low voltage at fuel check, didnt have enough juice to run the fuel pump for a fuel sample. May of had other issues that couldnt be fixed there. I've seen Travis ask people to dip fuel from the cell in certain instances.

Wade, we killed the battery on our new car twice at the end of the track before we figured out what to do with the high load to make it last. That was with a working alternator also. Also used up two batteries and we only run one. Had to steal a battery out of a new diesel truck I was driving @ No Problem. Now we got it fixed.

No way. He doesn't scare me. He's probably an immobile old fart anyway. I don't like to be mean, but I'm basically tired of all the bull**** he posts about us. I have little patience for people like that.

Actually,James is a young fart.He won't qualify as an old fart for a long while. He might become a curmudgeon before that if any more new combos and Drooze knock offs come along in the meantime. We'll all be able to eat well, gripe and race this weekend at Norwalk.Film at 11:00.

GM left out ?.......the package (BIW) is there and so are the crate engines just like FORD and DODGE....they just haven't submitted the engine specs to NHRA yet.......by the way the recommended crate engines are...LS7....ZZ572R....ZZ383....LSX376...LSX454... ..would cover alot of classes.....just a LOT more work than the competition to construct......

Just go to the GM Performance Parts website.....it's all there including the order forms for the dealer to get you the BIW.....just write the check
