What a super morning - everyone here is glad they came .S/Street got their hit without incident and then Stock went out - most were three to five better than yesterday - mostly weather related increases ,The talk of the pits is Tom Kreeber with his early Mopar going 10.12 in B/SA - well done . SuperStock coming up................

BTW , for all the naysayers - the track had big teeth this morning .

S/Stock got their pass in - most were like the stockers - 3 to 5 faster and
were happy with the great track .Many had fearsbut went away after seeing giant wheelie after giant wheelie . S/Gas out on the track now .

Stock round one will happen in a few hours with some interesting match-ups --
heads-up ----A/SA --

John Shaul v Bo Kenney

H/SA -- Danny Lynch v Glen Hartzler

Big handicaps -- its the boss - Ken Meile AA/SA v Joe Cokinos P/S
Steve Calabro A/SA v Michael Beard DF/S
Ralph Porpora A/S v Dennis Chapman BF/S

Billy Nees T/SA v Dave Ficcaci B/SA
And two old friends meet up -- Ed Fernandez T/SA v Mike Meier Q/SA

All this after Alcohol and Comp - stay tuned .

What a great day - for most of you anyway , at this moment that you whistle you're hearing is for real - well almost , its me on the New Jersey Transit train to Atlantic City - maybe my luck will change there as for the second race in a row not only am I a first round runner-up but my Trans Am is broken and if one of you out there needs an entry to Reading i've got to give mine up as its not going to be fixed in time for sure.

Tomorrow i'll be back at Atco with full coverage for you .........tonight its just hard to keep my chin up .

Wow that looks nasty under there Jack.....

I am sorry to see it. Looks like the block is broken on that engine and a lot of other damage. Headers, starter, flexplate, trans. I read once about an LS-1 that broke the block where the starter mounts and thats what I see in your picture.

I don't know what actually happened but I am real sorry to see you lose two engines in 2 races......
