That would definitely be a false rumor!!! NHRA NEVER, and I repeat.....NEVER gives you money back!

Joe,

Last year we (me and dad) did nothing and both got transfers without issue. I suspect they compared the entry list to the tech cards to figure it out, but I don't know.

You could confirm with the Div. office next week. I waited a week or two and did a run through on the online entry system to enter a race and when it came time for payment my credit was there. I think that is about the only way you can confirm it in their event registration system.

I'm wondering how to get back my $10 for the child ticket (others may have more expensive crew tickets they purchased) that I won't be using, but, I figure, I bothered Kent enough today to ask about that.

Never Has Refunded Anything?

I think it is a little hasty to cancel tomorrow, we could get parked, teched, and everyone get one session in tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Maybe start teching cars at VF outlet to save time?

OK - So we've sitting around for hours and told every story we can remember - what to do now ? Some folks - myself included went shopping - not many people in the stores and many bargains - why not take advantage ? Some however were buying questionable items - you decide which .What goes on in motorhomes ......well you get the rest .

The Sun has been in and out many,many times today but not much rain - and thats' all the good news I have to report .All kinds of rumors coming back from the track - but until I confirm them they will stay secret .We all should stay away from that sort of thing as nothing good can come out of it . Ever .........

PS- If you're ever going to pose for a picture for me be sure of your surroundings .But compared to Toby I'm harmless .............

Forget having the carshow Oct 8th just unload all the trailers now and cruise around the parking lot! It really is ashame that this race has put such a bad taste in sportsman racers mouths. This used to be one of the events I couldn't wait to get to, now I haven't been there in over 4 years and don't see myself entering anytime soon!

Hope to see everyone on Friday as I'm playing hooky from work to maybe come watch 1st round, if not I'll see some of you at Numidia next weekend for the .90 race

I took a ride out to the track. This is just my opinion on the condition of how the holding area we usually go to is before entering the track and also the pit area parking.

The ground was solid for the holding area. The pit area has the usual soft spots but there was still some good area's to park. I have seen it a lot worse at this track. I would assume they know what's best and that the pit area is still not ready to hold us.

I can not confirm this, but I'm pretty sure the decision will be made tomorrow whether they let us in or postponed stk, ss, sg and sc. No word on were or when, it all depends on if it rains tonight and tomorrow.

As you can see the weather is nice with the sun shining with a nice breeze. I guess its all up to the rains gods now.
