When speaking/thinking of true genius, I always thought of Smokey Yunick and Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins. I met Bill in 1963, and often talked with him.
When a true novice in racing, I used to call Bill with questions, and turn on the tape recorder, so I could go over and over what he said to digest it !!! Loved the Man !! Dave Colbert |
