Does anyone know how many true Hemi cars were present and any details on the race portion of the event?

The car count was really lite. There were only 2 original LO cars. Dan Morgan had his there along with mine. Rob Hall brought his Banning & Slaughter BO, & Kramer brought the original Faubel 65 AFX car. There were only a couple A990 cars in attendance, one being the Steve Bagwell car.
All in all, it was still a great weekend, but towing over 2000 k one way for this was dissappointing.
As Jim said in a previous post, I was able to drive my LO to the event from the hotel, but it didn't go without incident due to one of the local enforcement officers pulling me over for an illegal left hand turn. He was REAL GOOD about it as he let me go. There might have been a couple citations that were available to him on the street legallity of my car.

Daryl,
Unfortunately, I had so many things come up that I could not make the Reunion, but I WILL buy you lunch at Chryslers@Carlisle 2014! We would love to see some pics if anyone has any.

It was dusk turning to dark when I came down from the room to get some
"refreshment" out of my rig which was parked next to Daryl's. I noticed a
P.D. vehicle parked in the lot entrance facing back from Daryl's trailer.

I was about to turn and go back upstairs but at that precise moment I
heard Daryl and Don coming in the Dart from about a block away; a
rather distinctive sound you might say.

As soon as Daryl made a left turn towards me he abruptly stopped
and started to back up. Simultaneously, the patrol car made a move
and raced towards Daryl.

I thought, had they been bad in the Dart coming into town? But, no.
Daryl's LH turn was illegal and I couldn't tell it from my view.

As Daryl muscled through a 3-point turn to get headed back the right
way I think he and the cop just sort of waived each other off. They didn't
weigh him, make him go through fuel check or nothing.
